Gender Free Restrooms Act: Interested in a simple, commonsense, no-cost progressive policy for states and localities? The Gender-Free Restrooms Act requires that any single-user toilet facility in a public building or place of public accommodation must be available to persons of any gender.

State Agenda for America’s Workers: The Economic Analysis and Research Network (EARN) at EPI teamed up with the National Employment Law Project (NELP) to lay out “18 Ways to Promote Good Jobs in the States.” It’s a great survey of progressive economic legislation!

Suicide rates state-by-state: Pew’s Stateline ranks states by their rates of suicide. Montana has the worst rate, followed by Alaska and Wyoming. New Jersey has the lowest rate, followed by New York and Massachusetts.
