Prescription Drug Affordability Act: State agencies already review and approve costs for such things as health insurance and hospital rates. The Prescription Drug Affordability Act establishes a Board to review and establish certain prescription drug costs. Probably today, the Maryland legislature will override a veto to fully implement this groundbreaking system to lower drug costs.
