Immigrant Tenant Protection Act: This model is based on a 2019 law enacted in Illinois and, sadly, is timely again. The Immigrant Tenant Protection Act prohibits a landlord from disclosing or threatening to disclose, or attempting eviction, based on a tenant’s immigration status.
