Crisis Pregnancy Center Fraud Prevention Act: This year, Connecticut became the first state to enact legislation (SB 835), based on San Francisco’s successful anti-fraud statute, to address the problem of lies and misrepresentations by CPCs. The Crisis Pregnancy Center Fraud Prevention Act is a model version of the San Francisco law which could be enacted by either states or localities.
