Qualified Oversight in Reproductive Care Act: If an unregulated pregnancy clinic (UPC) is offering medical services, then it needs to be held to the standards of a legitimate health care provider. The Qualified Oversight in Reproductive Care Act requires that, if a UPC offers medical services, it must have a supervising medical professional and disclose that person’s identity to the state department of health and to any client who asks who is supervising their own health care.

Doctors are not accepting professional responsibility: Eighty percent of UPCs offer obstetric ultrasound examinations. That procedure requires the supervision of a doctor. Trump’s attack on wind power threatens to raise prices for millions of Americans: We are in an election cycle focused on “affordability,” and the Trump Administration’s efforts to stop renewable energy projects, especially offshore wind power, will raise everyone’s bill for electricity, explains the Center for American Progress.

2026 Progressive Agenda for States & Localities: PLI has published the latest edition of our Progressive Agenda, which highlights 50 model bills and hyperlinks to more than 250 models. Different proposals fit blue, purple and red states.
