PLI Abortion Rights Pledge

While Republicans in the White House and Congress continue to try to trample women’s reproductive rights on a national level, the real battle for abortion rights is happening in state legislatures across the country.

That is why I pledge to introduce an abortion rights bill that supports or promotes proactive reproductive rights policies during my next legislative session.

I pledge to accelerate the movement to expand and protect women’s reproductive rights, adding to the more than 100 abortion rights bills that have been introduced in 32 states since the start of 2017.

I pledge to fight for women and against the tide of conservative legislation that infringes on their constitutional right to reproductive freedom.

I pledge to rally support for policies necessary for improving women’s access to abortion care and shifting the debate about abortion. Now is the time to act.
