Summary: There are now 81 proactive abortion rights bills introduced in the 2020 sessions as well as 55 others which carried over from 2019. The most important victories so far this year are in Virginia, see below.
Alabama
AL SB 220 by Vivian Figures – Would repeal the state’s extreme 2019 anti-abortion law.
AL HB 238 by Rolanda Hollis – Would require all men to get a vasectomy after turning 50 or after the birth of their third child, whichever is first.

**FL SJR 60 by Lauren Book – Proposes a constitutional amendment that neither house of the legislature may vote on a bill about abortion unless at least half of the members are women (a new satire model)
